Rich started flying kites in 2016 and it quickly grew into an obsession for him. Rich is an award-winning kite maker and kite flyer, and his main passion is indoor kites. His indoor “sweet gum leaf” kite won first place in the AKA indoor kite makers competition in 2017 and was used for his 1st place performances in the AKA indoor single line competition in 2018 and the AKA indoor unlimited competition in 2022. Rich combines single line kites, quad-line kites, and other props in his innovative indoor kite performances.
