Jim has been involved in kite flying since 1987 as a competitor, judge, builder, manufacturers rep and event organizer/advisor. He has flown in a multitude places - from on the ice of frozen Lake Delavan in WI to the desert of Dubai to underground in a cave in WV! He is the founding president of the Wings Over Washington Kite Club (W.O.W.) and has performed with Team IQuad, The RevRiders, Misfits of W.O.W., WOW Pro Style and The Flaming Emus! His extensive knowledge of kites, kite festivals, and kite fliers worldwide makes him the perfect MC for the SPI Indoor Kite Fest.
