Spence has been flying kites since 2005. He has been part of several sport kite teams such as iQuad, FlyForm and The Kite Connection. In the last 15 years, he has flown kites in 9 countries across 3 continents and has several National Championship awards from the American Kitefliers Association. Spence hand makes most of the kites he flies ~ including the 8-stack of quad kites he flew during his performances at the 2020-2023 SPI Indoor Kite Performances.
